February Military Marriage Retreat

Military life asks a lot of a marriage. Deployments, changing duty stations, demanding schedules, time apart, and the transition between military and civilian life can all shape a relationship in ways other couples may not fully understand.

This Valentine’s Day weekend, Battle Bus Ministries is inviting military couples to step away from the everyday and spend intentional time together—having fun, reconnecting, strengthening their friendship, and exploring what God designed marriage to be.

Whether one or both of you are active duty, Reserve, National Guard, Coast Guard, or veterans, you’re invited.

You don’t need to have faith figured out to come. Whether you’re curious about Christianity, new in your faith, reconnecting with God, or already following Christ, this weekend is designed to be welcoming wherever you are in that journey.

More Than a Weekend Away—Time for Each Other

Sometimes the best thing you can give your marriage is uninterrupted time together.

Throughout the weekend, couples will enjoy great food, outdoor recreation, relaxed evenings, and plenty of time to simply have fun and enjoy each other’s company. We’ll also create space for honest conversations about marriage, communication, commitment, and navigating the unique realities of military life.

Together, we’ll explore what the Bible says about marriage and why we believe a relationship centered on Jesus Christ offers something different for the road ahead.

This isn’t about having a perfect marriage or all the right answers. Come as you are, bring your story, and spend Valentine’s weekend investing in each other.

What to Expect

Our retreats are intentionally relaxed. We want couples to have room to connect with one another while also building friendships with other military couples who understand the lifestyle.

You can expect:

Thanks to the generosity of Battle Bus Ministries supporters and ministry partners, transportation, lodging, meals, activities, and retreat materials are provided at absolutely no cost to you.

We want to remove the barriers that might keep military couples from getting away and create an opportunity to invest in their marriage, build meaningful relationships, and encounter the hope of Jesus Christ together.
